The facility serves as a focal point for family-friendly entertainment and environmental stewardship in the Gulf Coast region. The Aquarium prides itself on its commitment to providing memorable visitor experiences through interactive exhibits and a variety of special events throughout the year.

The Event & Marketing Coordinator at the Mississippi Aquarium plays an essential role in orchestrating successful guest experiences and bolstering the Aquarium's public presence. This position is primarily focused on managing the Aquarium’s popular Birthday Party Program, ensuring each event runs smoothly and delivers a fun, seamless celebration for guests of all ages. Beyond birthday parties, the coordinator provides critical support for a wide range of Aquarium events, working closely with the Special Events & Promotions Manager to handle event logistics, vendor coordination, and onsite assistance.
