The Event & Lifestyle Coordinator role at Overture Cary, located in Morrisville, North Carolina, represents an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a vibrant residential community managed by Greystar. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day management with a particular focus on resident retention through event planning and lifestyle programming. The coordinator works collaboratively with the Community Manager and sales teams to facilitate move-in experiences, design and implement engaging community events, and contribute to marketing and sales initiatives that highlight the community's appeal.

In this position, you will serve as a welcoming face for prospects and residents, ensuring their comfort and positive experiences within the leasing office and community amenities. Managing our guest suite scheduling, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining shared spaces are also critical to creating an inviting and well-organized environment for residents. You will be responsible for brainstorming and executing creative and dynamic events and programs utilizing community amenity spaces, aiming to foster a strong sense of belonging and satisfaction among residents.

Further, the Event & Lifestyle Coordinator is tasked with building and nurturing relationships with local businesses and vendors to provide residents with valuable local insights and recommendations. This role demands excellent communication skills to manage lifestyle communications through emails, newsletters, and digital postings. The role also requires budget management related to lifestyle programming to ensure financial efficiency. Compensation for this hourly position ranges from $21.00 to $23.00, with potential bonuses based on individual and company performance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event coordination or community programming
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet prospects and residents as they enter the office and ensure their comfort
  • Assist with tours as needed
  • Answer and route phone calls appropriately and assist with service request callbacks
  • Maintain guest suite scheduling and manage move-in/out logistics
  • Document and notify residents of all package deliveries within 24 hours
  • Ensure all amenities are tour-ready and prepared for resident use
  • Develop and execute innovative events and programs using amenity spaces
  • Maintain relationships with local businesses and vendors to provide community insights
  • Monitor and respond to lifestyle emails and assist with marketing event awareness
  • Create and produce monthly community calendars, newsletters, and flyers
  • Participate in meeting sales and marketing standards and benchmarks
  • Provide input and manage budgets related to community events and resident retention
