Job Requirements

  • at least a high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in event and catering management or similar role
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to manage event set-up and oversee staff
  • proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • at least 3 years of experience as an event and catering manager or similar role
  • demonstrated experience in off-site catering and managing high-volume events
  • exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • ability to lead teams confidently in fast-paced environments
  • excellent communication skills with clients and team members
  • knowledgeable about food hygiene standards
  • calm, practical, and dependable under pressure
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • plan and manage a variety of events including banquets, weddings, meetings, and large-scale off-site functions
  • engage with clients to finalize requirements including menu selections, layouts, and staffing needs
  • collaborate with chefs, venues, and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • prepare essential event documentation such as event sheets, floor plans, packing lists, and hire orders
  • oversee on-site event and catering staff to maintain high service standards
  • ensure setup, service areas, and compliance with food safety regulations
  • address and resolve issues during live events efficiently and professionally
  • document staffing and labor details and complete post-event reviews
