Job Description

Our company is a well-established player in the hospitality industry, recognized for delivering exceptional events and catering services. We specialize in organizing and executing a wide range of occasions including weddings, corporate functions, banquets, and social gatherings. Our team is known for a friendly yet professional approach, driven by core values such as teamwork, open communication, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. We take pride in creating memorable experiences for our clients and their guests, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned and flawlessly implemented.

We are currently seeking an Event & Catering Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off. As the Event & Catering Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing off-site catering and events, overseeing the complete event lifecycle—from initial client consultations through to the successful execution and post-event evaluations. This role demands excellence in event planning, strong leadership skills to manage teams under pressure, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that every aspect of an event meets our rigorous standards of quality and safety.

In this varied and exciting role, you will engage directly with clients to understand their requirements, coordinate with chefs, venues, and external vendors to ensure seamless service delivery, and manage an on-site team to maintain high standards throughout each event. You will be responsible for preparing critical event documentation such as event sheets, floor plans, packing lists, and equipment or staff hire orders. Your leadership will ensure that set-up, service, and compliance with food safety regulations are adhered to, and that any issues during live events are addressed promptly and professionally. By meticulously documenting staffing and labor details and completing detailed post-event reports, you will contribute to continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can manage multiple events simultaneously, and possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills. You must be calm, dependable, and practical when faced with challenges, with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and vendors. A strong knowledge of food hygiene standards and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your experience and passion for event and catering management within a company that values your contribution and fosters professional growth.
