Tilray Brands, Inc. is a leading global lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company headquartered in Canada with operations spanning the United States, Europe, Australia, and Latin America. Known for its innovative approach, Tilray operates at the intersection of cannabis, beverage, wellness, and entertainment sectors, delivering premium products that inspire joy, promote wellness, and create memorable experiences for consumers worldwide. The company's extensive portfolio encompasses over 40 brands across more than 20 countries, featuring a variety of offerings such as comprehensive cannabis products, hemp-based foods, and craft beverages. As a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: TLRY; TSX: TLRY), Tilray continues to build on its vision of being a transformative force in lifestyle and consumer goods.
Tilray Beverages, a division of Tilray Brands, is a dynamic and rapidly growing segment focused exclusively on producing high-quality craft beers. With six production facilities across the United States, Tilray Beverages has risen to become the fifth largest craft beer business in the country through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The division prides itself on excellence, innovation, and its commitment to creating exceptional craft beer products that enhance customer experiences and strengthen community engagement.
The Event and Catering Manager position at Breckenridge Brewery, part of Tilray Beverages' expanding portfolio in Fort Collins, Colorado, offers an exciting opportunity to lead brewery events, private parties, and catering operations. This full-time role is designed for a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of driving revenue growth, ensuring impeccable guest experiences, and supporting day-to-day business activities. Reporting directly to senior management, the Event and Catering Manager plays a pivotal role in event planning, logistical coordination, staffing management, and client relationship development. This position also entails providing essential support during the General Manager's absence, underscoring its importance within the organizational structure.
Key responsibilities include organizing and overseeing a diverse range of brewery events such as live music, trivia nights, bingo sessions, beer release celebrations, private parties, and other special occasions. The manager coordinates with musicians, DJs, vendors, artists, and community partners to manage logistics, schedules, and seamless event execution. Innovation and market awareness are essential, as the role requires researching trends and developing new event ideas to boost guest engagement and attendance.
Catering and private event management are critical components of this position. The manager supervises catering operations for private events, taproom buyouts, group reservations, and exclusive dining areas, ensuring quality service and client satisfaction. Expanding the catering business through community outreach, networking, and local sales initiatives is a key objective, alongside negotiating contracts, pricing, and communication with clients. Collaboration with kitchen, bar, and service teams is vital for smooth event execution, while overseeing supplies and equipment ensures operational readiness.
Guest experience remains a top priority. The manager addresses client requests, manages last-minute changes, and professionally resolves day-of challenges. Continuous improvement is fostered by gathering and analyzing guest feedback to enhance future events and services. Relationship building with clients, guests, and community partners supports repeat business opportunities. Additionally, the role involves hands-on operational duties, including working Front of House and Kitchen shifts as needed to stay connected with daily operations.
Operational compliance and safety are integral aspects of the role. The manager ensures adherence to alcohol service laws, food safety protocols, occupancy limits, and company policies, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. Administrative responsibilities encompass managing budgets, contracts, vendor contacts, client preferences, event calendars, and sales tracking to optimize profitability. Preparation of proposals, invoices, and contracts further supports seamless event administration, while identifying opportunities for service enhancement and business growth rounds out the position's comprehensive scope.
The salary for this role ranges from $56,000 to $62,000 annually, based on experience, with an additional 2% commission. Tilray Brands is committed to diversity and employment equity and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
