It operates at the nexus of cannabis, beverage, wellness, and entertainment, elevating lives through moments of connection. The company’s mission is to be a premium lifestyle leader with a diverse portfolio of over 40 brands across more than 20 countries. With offerings that include comprehensive cannabis products, hemp-based foods, and craft beverages, Tilray Brands has established itself as a transformative force in multiple industries.

Within Tilray, Tilray Beverages is a dynamic and rapidly growing division dedicated to producing high-quality craft beers. With six production facilities across the United States, Tilray Beverages has swiftly risen to become the 5th largest craft beer business in the U.S., driven by a balance of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The division prides itself on innovation and excellence, continually creating products that delight customers and enhance their overall experience.

The Event and Catering Manager role at Breckenridge Brewery, a part of Tilray Beverages based in Fort Collins, CO, is a critical leadership position focused on overseeing brewery events, private parties, and catering operations. This role is designed to drive revenue while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and supporting the brewery’s overall business operations. The manager is responsible for meticulous planning, logistics, staffing, client relations, and flawless execution of events. The position also includes supporting daily operational duties and stepping in for the General Manager during their absence.

Key responsibilities of the Event and Catering Manager span a wide range of event planning and coordination tasks. This includes managing live music nights, trivia, beer releases, private parties, and special events with a focus on enhancing guest engagement through innovative event ideas. Coordination with bands, vendors, artists, and community partners is essential for seamless logistics and scheduling. The manager is also tasked with budgeting, setup and teardown, staffing management, and maintaining event calendars via tools like Outlook and 7shifts. Building and nurturing vendor relationships to facilitate future collaborations and creating promotional activities to boost attendance are part of the role's strategic focus.

Catering duties are equally comprehensive, overseeing all catering operations from private events to taproom buyouts and large group reservations. The manager acts as the primary liaison for catering inquiries, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all private events are professionally executed with the right staffing and coordination between kitchen, bar, and service teams. The role involves developing catering packages, menus, service offerings, and managing supplies and equipment.

A strong emphasis is placed on delivering a superior guest experience, handling client requests professionally, gathering feedback for continuous improvement, and building lasting relationships to encourage repeat business. The manager is also expected to remain operationally engaged by working front-of-house and kitchen shifts weekly, alongside their event-related duties. Administrative responsibilities include ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws, food safety, occupancy, and company policies while managing event finances, paperwork, and operational logistics. Monitoring event sales, labor, and expenses supports business profitability, and the manager identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency and growth.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $56,000 to $62,000 plus a 2% commission on top of the base pay. Tilray Brands is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusivity and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process. The company operates with integrity, not charging any fees or soliciting sensitive personal information during hiring.
