The role being offered is a full-time Food Service Supervisor position, which is a pivotal part of Aramark’s Food Services Team. The compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate of $21.00. This role requires a dedicated individual ready to step up into leadership by collaborating closely with the food services manager and other team members. As a Food Service Supervisor, the incumbent will not only oversee daily activities but also support staff adherence to food safety and quality standards. The position entails maintaining high levels of food production, ensuring a safe and organized environment for food storage, managing schedules, and monitoring inventory to keep operational efficiency at its best.

The Food Service Supervisor will also play a vital role in employee development through supervising, evaluating, and mentoring foodservice workers, fostering teamwork, morale, and efficiency. The job demands strong multitasking abilities and flexibility, including covering evening shifts and occasional night and weekend catered events, ensuring events are prepared and delivered promptly. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including attending meetings, maintaining equipment logs, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and occasionally performing cashier duties. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • capacity for multitasking and handling stress
  • preferred completion of sanitation training program

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
  • knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
  • skilled in basic arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • reliably cover PM hours and adjust to schedule changes
