Job Requirements
- Prior involvement in food preparation or a related culinary function
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation principles and techniques for cooking
- Awareness of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Certification in food safety if not previously obtained
- Basic math skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare meals as per standardized recipes and guidelines for production
- Organize workstations with the required ingredients and equipment for the job
- Organize ingredients by chopping, trimming, measuring, mixing, and other necessary steps
- Properly use various kitchen utensils and equipment, such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers, to ensure safety in the kitchen
- Make meals by using methods such as baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to cook various dishes
- Arrange, adorn, and serve food in a manner that meets prescribed criteria for its visual display
- Adhere to the prescribed food safety procedures and store food items adequately
