Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or related culinary role
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work evening shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling
- Certification in food safety required or willingness to obtain it
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior involvement in food preparation or a related culinary function
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation principles and cooking techniques
- Awareness of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
- Certification in food safety preferred or willingness to achieve certification
- Basic skills in mathematical operations and counting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare meals as per standardized recipes and guidelines for production
- Organize workstations with required ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by chopping, trimming, measuring, and mixing
- Properly use kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Make meals using baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming methods
- Arrange and serve food with attention to visual presentation
- Adhere to food safety procedures and store food appropriately
- Sanitize kitchen zones, equipment, and utensils to prevent contamination
- Ensure excellent customer support and maintain a positive attitude
- Follow all safety and sanitation measures outlined by Aramark
- Preserve the integrity of company assets
