Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • Flexible schedule with availability for days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless directed otherwise
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated schedule times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • Ability to stand for sustained periods
  • Ability to walk long distances within the work environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies as required
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in a hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to brand standards and guidelines
  • Comply with food safety certification requirements, including Food Handlers Safety Training
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas per State Board of Health regulations
  • Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to restaurant opening
  • Know the location and operation of all safety equipment
  • Assist in the storage and rotation of food items following hotel procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
