Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company that specializes in providing vibrant, resort-style living environments for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. At RLC, serving seniors is not just a job but a heartfelt calling. The company prides itself on fostering a close-knit, servant-hearted community guided by its core values: respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence. These values are deeply embedded in every aspect of their work culture and enhance the living experiences of residents, making RLC a unique and supportive place to work.
RLC strives for excellence through its commitment to four essential goals that drive the organization's success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. The leadership team at RLC is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive work environment where each team member feels valued and motivated. Employees enjoy a purposeful role where their contributions truly make a difference in the lives of seniors every day. Within this resort-style environment, staff have access to competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
The role of the 2nd Shift Concierge at RLC is integral to upholding the welcoming, community-centered atmosphere for which the company is known. As the first point of contact on the second shift, the concierge serves as the welcoming face of the community, greeting residents, families, and guests with warmth and professionalism. Beyond front desk duties, this position is dynamic and hands-on, requiring flexibility to move throughout the community to assist in various operational areas. This role includes responsibilities such as valet parking, answering incoming calls, monitoring building safety systems, assisting with emergency response, managing administrative tasks, and providing support during peak dining and event times. The shift runs from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Thursday through Monday, and requires an individual with strong multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and a professional demeanor.
Ideal candidates are those who are adaptable, team-oriented, and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to service excellence. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of the local community, and the ability to communicate effectively in English are important for success in this role. The concierge must also be capable of performing valet parking safely with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Additionally, many responsibilities require compliance with local alcohol service regulations and obtaining food handler permits shortly after hire.
This position offers more than a job; it offers the opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven team where employees support one another like family. Individuals who bring a servant’s heart and a passion for enhancing seniors' lives will find a fulfilling career path at Resort Lifestyle Communities. Join RLC and become a vital part of a mission-oriented community dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors, all while enjoying a supportive and enriching work environment.
