Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company proudly operating over 60 resort-style senior living communities across the nation. Dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care, RLC is committed to serving seniors with the utmost respect, kindness, honesty, and compassion. Their mission transcends mere service; it is about fostering vibrant, welcoming environments where seniors can thrive, feel valued, and experience a strong sense of community. RLC's Core Values—Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence—are deeply ingrained in every aspect of their operations and guide every team member’s daily work.
At Resort Lifestyle Communities, the belief is that happy employees lead to happy residents, which ultimately results in full occupancy and on-budget operations. This holistic approach ensures a positive living environment for residents while providing a supportive workplace for employees. The company prioritizes teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement, making it a desirable workplace for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact in senior care.
The 2nd Shift Concierge role at RLC exemplifies the company’s commitment to excellence and heartfelt service. As the welcoming face of the community during the evening shift, the 2nd Shift Concierge plays a pivotal role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for residents, their families, and guests. This position is not just about answering phones and greeting visitors; it is a dynamic, hands-on job that requires multitasking and adaptability. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact at the front desk, managing communications and providing assistance in various areas to support smooth operations.
This role requires a strong focus on customer service and interpersonal skills, as the Concierge interacts with diverse individuals throughout their shift. Responsibilities include safely performing valet parking services, responding promptly to emergencies, monitoring resident call systems, ensuring building security, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas. The Concierge also assists with administrative tasks such as scheduling transportation, managing guest suite reservations, and handling office supplies and resident documents. Support for community operations involves helping with dining room coverage, event setup, and responsible alcohol service.
Working hours for this position are Thursday to Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The employer expects the successful candidate to be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, capable of valet parking vehicles safely. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, organization, and multitasking skills. They must be adaptable, flexible to shifting priorities, and have a proactive, detail-oriented approach to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
In addition, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Knowledge of the local community is preferred, and candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff. To comply with local regulations, the Concierge must meet alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. RLC provides employees access to their pay anytime and includes a $341 benefit stipend per pay period that can be applied toward health, dental, and vision coverage. Additional benefits include life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, HSA, FSA, LSA accounts, accident and hospital indemnity insurance, legal and identity theft protection, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities as a 2nd Shift Concierge means becoming part of a servant-hearted community where you can truly make a difference every day.
