The hiring establishment is a senior living community dedicated to providing an elevated way of life for seniors, focusing on comfort, connection, and joy. This community prides itself on creating a warm and welcoming environment where seniors can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. The atmosphere is designed to foster a sense of belonging and support, making it an ideal place for seniors who seek a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.
As a reputable senior living community, they emphasize quality service, professionalism, and compassionate care. The team works collectively to ensure residents’ needs are met promptly and courteously, enhancing their overall experience. The property features well-maintained common areas, inviting social spaces, and beautiful accommodations, all geared towards making the residents feel at home. Employees are expected to contribute positively to this mission by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean, and hospitable environment.
The role being offered is for a Concierge who will be an essential face of the community. This position is hourly and reports directly to the Business Office Manager, making it a frontline administrative and service-oriented job. The Concierge serves as the first impression of the community, greeting visitors, directing them appropriately, and responding to their various inquiries with professionalism and warmth. This role is critical for nurturing a positive environment and helping potential residents and their families feel comfortable and informed during their visits.
The Concierge’s responsibilities are diverse and vital, including tasks such as welcoming visitors, arranging property tours, answering multi-line telephones, and offering clerical support to the administrative team. The role also involves handling resident and visitor requests, managing mail and office supplies, maintaining the reception area, and supporting dining services as needed. This position demands excellent communication skills, a cheerful and patient demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
In addition to administrative duties, the Concierge plays a supportive role in the community’s marketing efforts by engaging positively with visitors during tours and through phone interactions. The Concierge must remain alert to any changes in residents’ conditions and report such observations promptly to supervisors, ensuring resident safety and well-being. Maintaining a neat and orderly lobby area, providing fresh refreshments, and keeping literature current is also part of the daily routine.
Physically, this role requires someone who can stand and walk continuously, lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds, and perform other physical movements such as bending, squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs frequently. The ability to work both indoors and outdoors is necessary, along with clear vision and hearing capabilities, to effectively perform the role’s duties.
Overall, this Concierge position offers a meaningful opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving seniors, excel at multitasking, and possess strong clerical and interpersonal skills. It is ideal for those who are professional, empathetic, and eager to contribute to a community that values respectful and joyful senior living.
