The current opportunity is ideal for an energetic and detail-oriented individual interested in the role of a Job Planner / Estimator. This role involves producing comprehensive graphic solutions by working directly with several teams to ensure projects are executed timely and accurately. Responsibilities include developing competitive estimates and detailed job plans, managing complex projects under time and budget constraints, and maintaining ongoing cross-functional communication. This position requires a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can prioritize multiple tasks without losing focus under pressure.

Additionally, the Job Planner / Estimator will collaborate closely with customer service representatives and account executives to create workable production solutions for complex projects. Coordination extends nationally, including working with other service locations, subcontractors, and vendors, emphasizing a commitment to delivering quality products within restricted timelines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to succeed in this role, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience in job planning and estimating within printing or promotional marketing business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Capacity to build and maintain business relationships

Job Duties

  • Work directly with customer service, sales, vendors and production in a fast paced, creative environment
  • Provide accurate and competitive estimates and job plans including developing, implementing and estimating complex projects within time and cost constraints
  • Ongoing cross-functional communication
  • Prioritize and coordinate incoming work
  • Understand project specifications
  • Work with customer service and account executives to identify workable production solutions for challenging projects
  • Communicate and coordinate with other service locations nationally as well as subcontractors and vendors to ensure a quality product within time restrictions
