Job Requirements
- minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- state/FBI criminal history clearance
- successful work experience in a comparable position
- ability to meet suitability criteria for employment certification or licensure under Alabama Child Protection Act
- broad knowledge of basic office procedures and functions including electronic and manual filing record keeping purchasing bookkeeping word processing and reporting
- proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- ability to use technology to communicate manage data and produce submit reports correspondence or school information
- physical strength mobility dexterity stamina and acuity to perform job responsibilities
- such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require

Job Duties
- perform office routines including answering phones and intercom system taking and conveying messages and distributing mail
- greet assist and direct students and visitors who come into the office
- assist in planning school events and activities
- maintain documents files and records ensuring confidentiality
- type prepare distribute file and or mail various correspondence
- demonstrate support for the school system its vision goals and priorities
- provide administrative support to secretary bookkeeper receptionist principal director or other school personnel as needed
