The Server role at Hacienda is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with guests to create an unforgettable experience. This position is ideal for outgoing, energetic people who are at least 18 years old and eager to work in a team-driven setting focused on exceptional guest service. Servers at Hacienda greet guests promptly with enthusiasm, offer fresh chips and salsa, and maintain a guest-focused attitude that goes beyond traditional service standards. The role involves quick and efficient delivery of food and beverages, suggestive selling of specials, and attentive care to understand and meet guest needs uniquely each time. This position requires handling cash and credit/gift card payments securely, verifying the age of guests for responsible alcohol service, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked work area.

New servers will undergo 6 to 8 shifts of training to become independently capable of managing tables, ensuring they are comfortable with the menu, POS system, and the dynamic pace of the restaurant floor. The job also demands physical stamina, as servers must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and carry large trays efficiently. Job Requirements

  • able to operate POS system
  • handle guests' payments accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • ability to obtain a liquor license in the state of Indiana
  • prior foodservice experience helpful but not necessary
  • ability to memorize the menu and recommend appetizers, entrees, and drinks
  • able to operate POS system
  • ability to lift and carry trays
  • responsible alcohol service

Job Duties
