Job Description
gategroup is a leading global provider of airline catering and hospitality services, dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for passengers worldwide. With a rich history of delivering high-quality food, beverages, and onboard services, gategroup operates in numerous airports and airlines, contributing to seamless and enjoyable journeys. As a company committed to excellence, integrity, passion, and accountability, gategroup fosters a collaborative and respectful work environment. The company is known for its focus on diversity and equal employment opportunities, ensuring all employees are treated with respect and fairness.
We are currently seeking motivated and engaged individuals to join our team as Equipment Setup employees. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that every flight is equipped with the necessary beverages, ice, condiments, cutlery, napkins, linens, dishware, and other non-food items according to airline specifications. Starting at $23.00 per hour, this role offers a steady and rewarding position within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Equipment Setup employee is responsible for assembling equipment and supplies that comply with specific airline requirements, following detailed procedures and assembly diagrams. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Employees are tasked with sorting, wrapping, and packing airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
Working in this role, you will be exposed to varying temperature conditions and noise levels common in airport catering environments. Physical stamina is essential, as the job requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds frequently during shifts that typically last 8 or more hours. Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work assigned schedules including weekends and holidays are vital to the successful performance of this role.
As a member of the gategroup team, you will contribute to maintaining inventory compliance, completing administrative duties accurately, and adhering strictly to company policies and procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a supportive team dedicated to making each travel experience memorable and comfortable for airline passengers.
gategroup values employees who demonstrate integrity, effective communication, teamwork, passion for their work, attention to detail, and accountability. Joining this team means embracing these values daily and contributing positively to the workplace culture. We continuously seek individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact within the airline hospitality industry.
We welcome applicants on an ongoing basis, making this an open invitation for those ready to embark on a career with gategroup and be part of a global leader in airline catering services. This role is ideal for those who enjoy organized, task-oriented work and thrive in a team environment dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction.
