Job Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen years old
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must comply with all federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to use standard commercial cleaners and chemicals
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and respectful interactions with customers and team members
- Must follow all company policies and standard operating procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic cash handling skills
Job Duties
- Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures
- Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures
- Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement
- Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment
- Deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and high traffic areas
- Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly
- Notify supervisor of supply needs
- Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative
- Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
- Perform tasks according to federal, state, and county guidelines
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers
- Project a positive image and serve as a role model
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling
- Engage customers on rewards program and private label credit cards
- Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
