The Housekeeper position within the Environmental Services department at St. John's Hospital Camarillo is critical to maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role directly supports patient safety and infection control by ensuring that all areas within the hospital, including patient rooms and common spaces, are regularly cleaned and disinfected according to established protocols. The Housekeeper is responsible for performing thorough cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, and other sections of the hospital. Job Requirements
- Housekeeping experience required
- knowledge of basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- experience with proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- ability to perform safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
- acute healthcare work experience
- experience using heavy equipment such as buffer extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas
