The role at AdventHealth is a full-time night shift position based at the 2201 S Clear Creek Rd location in Killeen, Texas. This position is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and sterile environment essential for optimal patient care and hospital operations. The primary responsibilities involve performing various technical cleaning tasks such as mopping and scrubbing floors, managing carpet and hard surface floor care, and executing terminal cleaning in procedural areas to ensure sterility. Additional duties include stocking patient rooms with necessary supplies, handling soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling in compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting with project-related tasks like set-ups. The role demands vigilance and dedication to infection control, especially in specialty areas such as the Emergency Department, Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Pharmacy, where intensive cleaning helps eliminate infection risks.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately, and the capacity to work well in high-stress, physically demanding environments. Basic computer skills and proficiency in English communication are required. Job Requirements

- 1 plus years related experience preferred

Job Duties
- Perform technical cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing floors using appropriate equipment and chemical dilution
- Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary
- Manage carpet and hard surface floor care including stripping, refinishing, bonnet cleaning, extraction, and polishing
- Assist with set-ups and other project-related tasks as needed
- Remove and transport soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling according to departmental policies
- Maintain required records and information for all regulatory agencies
- Perform terminal cleaning of procedural areas to maintain a sterile environment
