Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- ability to use computer
- knowledge of cleaning materials equipment methods and chemicals
- strong customer service skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping twisting squatting and handling materials
- willingness to work evening shifts and occasional Saturdays
- ability to be on feet for most of the shift
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience helpful
- knowledge of materials equipment cleaning methods and chemicals helpful
- strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills required
- previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Job Duties
- demonstrate knowledge of housekeeping processes tools and techniques in a healthcare environment
- clean patient/resident rooms hallways lobbies lounges restrooms corridors elevators stairways locker rooms and other work areas to meet health standards
- wear proper protective equipment following guidelines
- keep storage equipment and carts well-stocked clean and tidy
- use pagers and other technology appropriately
- assist in laundry areas as needed
- perform physical activities such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping twisting squatting and handling materials
