This full-time position involves maintaining a clean and safe environment across patient care, public, clinical, and office areas within the hospital. This role is vital in ensuring a sanitary and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff alike. Shifts are available on a rotating basis—including first, second, and third shifts—offering flexibility to accommodate varied schedules. The position levels, ranging from Environmental Services Tech level 1 to level 2, depend on availability and expertise.\n\nThe Housekeeping/Environmental Services Technician will be trained to perform essential cleaning duties, including wall cleaning, stairwell and elevator maintenance, curtain removal and re-hanging, and rapid response to service calls. Additional responsibilities include restorative floor care, room turnover processes, and transportation of beds to necessary locations within the hospital. Basic operation of communication devices such as pagers and phone systems is also required. Job Duties

  • Clean patient care areas using chemicals and manual or electrical floor care equipment
  • maintain public, clinical, and office areas in a clean and safe condition
  • respond promptly to service calls for cleaning and maintenance

  • carry out restorative floor care including daily and check-out room turnover cleaning
