The role of Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 at Sodexo for Hillcrest Medical Center is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for managing second-shift custodial operations. This managerial role demands a dynamic and motivated leader capable of managing a team, collaborating with various hospital departments like Infection Control and the Environment of Care Committee, and ensuring the execution of an efficient housekeeping system tailored to healthcare requirements. Key responsibilities include driving compliance with HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) and Joint Commission standards, which are critical in maintaining healthcare accreditation and enhancing patient satisfaction scores.

Effective budget management and financial acumen are essential in this role, paired with the ability to harness technology to optimize operations. Fluency or knowledge of Spanish is a beneficial asset given the diversity of the workforce managed. The position operates on a 2nd-shift schedule from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with periodic weekend and holiday rotations, making flexibility and adaptability important characteristics for candidates.
