This position is for the 2nd-Shift Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 at Hillcrest Medical Center, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hillcrest Medical Center is a highly respected 656-bed hospital known for its exceptional care services, including housing the state’s largest dedicated heart hospital. The role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for patients, visitors, and staff, contributing directly to the hospital’s reputation for excellence.
As an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager, you will take on a leadership role responsible for the overall management and operational success of the hospital’s housekeeping and custodial services during the second shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm). The role involves managing a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control, crucial in a healthcare setting. Collaboration with departments such as Infectious Control and the Environment of Care Committee will be key responsibilities, enabling you to influence policies and practices that ensure patient safety.
Your efforts will be focused on driving client and patient satisfaction scores, utilizing your expertise to balance operational efficiency with outstanding customer service. Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce, you will lead a team motivated to surpass performance expectations in technical service execution and overall patient environment quality. Job Requirements
- associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 2 years work experience in housekeeping, environmental or custodial services
- strong leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of healthcare housekeeping standards
- ability to manage budgets
- proficiency with computer technology
- ability to work 2nd-shift hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
