The Environmental Service Manager 2 position at Sodexo is located at Capital Health in Pennington, New Jersey, a 220-bed healthcare facility. This nonunion site employs a client-paid staff of 50 employees, and the manager will be responsible for overseeing the Environmental Service Department. The role requires working primarily from 12 noon to 8:30 pm, including alternate weekends and holidays, and reporting directly to the on-site operations manager.

This managerial position is integral to Sodexo's healthcare service division, where the Environmental Services and Housekeeping teams play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment within hospital settings. These teams work closely with hospital staff and the Infectious Control department to uphold rigorous hygiene standards that enhance patient satisfaction and contribute to overall hospital performance. As the Environmental Service Manager 2, you will lead departmental projects, initiatives, and manage the Unit Operating System to deliver exceptional service quality. Your leadership will directly impact client and patient satisfaction scores, ensuring that the environment remains comfortable and secure for patients, visitors, and employees alike.

In this role, you will also develop and motivate your team to exceed service delivery expectations by fostering a culture of inclusion and effective communication.
