Currently, Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 to join its healthcare account team at Jackson Holtz Children’s Hospital, located in Miami, FL. Jackson Holtz Children’s Hospital is a reputable facility with 250 licensed beds and is part of the larger Jackson Health System, known for providing advanced pediatric care with a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

The Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 will oversee the first shift operations, leading a team of over 40 custodial staff and one lead. Operating during the hours of 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, this manager will be instrumental in driving client and patient satisfaction by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are consistently met. Reporting directly to the Director, the role demands strong leadership skills to supervise daily activities, manage team performance, and implement departmental projects and initiatives, all while collaborating closely with the Infectious Control department to uphold rigorous hygiene protocols vital to a healthcare setting.

This position requires a candidate capable of operating within a dynamic healthcare environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The manager will be responsible for effectively managing the Unit Operating System, tracking departmental metrics, and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce.
