As an Environmental Services Attendant at Sodexo based in Cincinnati at ThermoFisher Scientific, you will play a vital role as an appearance care ambassador and hygiene hero. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Availability for varying shifts including days and hours preferably with open availability
- Ability to complete physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintenance
- Dependability and punctuality to attend scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability to different client environments and tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous work experience required
- Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and reliable with a commitment to safety
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is an asset but not required
- Valid driver’s license if required to operate client vehicles
Job Duties
- Provide housekeeping services in any location on client premises including offices patients/residents rooms dorms classrooms schools common areas lavatories halls food service areas and other areas requiring attention
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks ensuring all areas of the site are clean and orderly
- May drive a golf cart or other vehicles to navigate large client sites
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on client needs and business requirements
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by following established hygiene and cleaning protocols
- Deliver customer service with a positive and professional attitude
