Job Qualifications

- must successfully complete extensive training program for high risk areas and pass certification class
- must complete yearly training
- ability to speak and understand English
- ability to read and understand simple directions
- strong customer service skills
- ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills when issues arise
Job Duties
- Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from automated system daily assignment sheet or verbal direction
- perform other job functions including moving beds or furniture to facilitate cleaning
- follow departmental and organizational processes to complete duties
- complete all necessary paperwork to monitor departmental statistics
- follow direction and proper usage of all equipment related to job performance including maintaining equipment cleanliness
- notify appropriate areas through work order process for equipment maintenance
- keep assigned carts and work areas stocked to appropriate operating levels including linen distribution
- complete additional duties such as storeroom maintenance to meet cleanliness and safety standards
- maintain high level of customer service to patients and other customers throughout the organization
