As an Environmental Services Aide at Longview Rehabilitation Hospital, you will play a crucial role in sustaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment that directly supports infection control protocols and enhances the overall patient experience. This position involves the comprehensive sanitation of multiple areas including patient rooms, public spaces, offices, corridors, and restrooms. Your responsibilities will include daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, replenishing supplies, and operating cleaning equipment like vacuums and floor scrubbers. Additionally, you will be expected to collect and dispose of trash responsibly, stock linens to ensure unit readiness, report any safety hazards, and adhere strictly to infection control policies.

This role is essential not only for the physical upkeep of the hospital environment but also for fostering a positive, healing atmosphere where patients, visitors, and staff feel comfortable and secure. Strong communication skills are important for interacting effectively with diverse groups within the hospital community.
