Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment and machinery
- Experience in proper waste management and disposal
- Understanding of emergency codes and procedures
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning equipment operation preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical cleaning devices
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow emergency protocols and codes
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Operate and service various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical, including washers, dryers and vacuums
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency codes and responsibilities
- Perform vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness
- Handle, transport, store and dispose of solid waste, biomedical waste and soiled linen properly
- Respond promptly and correctly to emergency situations according to established emergency codes
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions
- Adhere to health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
