Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of EHS experience with bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Associate’s degree with 7+ years EHS experience
  • 10+ years EHS experience with no degree
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and local state regulations such as OSHA, EPA, DOT
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and/or direct reports

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Associate’s degree acceptable with 7+ years EHS experience
  • 10+ years EHS experience without a degree considered
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of federal and local state regulations such as OSHA, EPA, DOT
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and/or direct reports
  • Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply applicable EHS regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and basic IT systems
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to represent company professionally to outside agencies, customers, and vendors

Job Duties

  • Drive the implementation of EHS programs and continuous improvement in EHS performance
  • Drive improvement and track goal achievement through collection, analysis and communication of EHS and KPI data
  • Lead EHS permitting processes and liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
  • Provide technical advice, develop plans and execute on environmental, health, or safety challenges
  • Support operations team with EHS program development, implementation, and improvement
  • Sustain excellence in EHS and safety culture
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable business and regulatory requirements
