UHS itself is a Fortune 500 company and one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers, known for its impressive growth, robust portfolio, and commitment to quality care across its various subsidiaries. The Kirkland location particularly focuses on delivering specialized mental health services with a compassionate touch, ensuring that patients receive respectful and personalized care. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion, supporting equal opportunities for all employees and applicants without discrimination. Fairfax Behavioral Health is also proactive in maintaining the safety and integrity of its recruitment process, cautioning applicants about scams to protect their personal information.

The Environmental Services (EVS) Technician position at Fairfax Behavioral Health in Kirkland plays a vital role in upholding the hospital’s commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The EVS Tech is responsible for the thorough cleaning and disinfection of all hospital areas including patient rooms, administrative offices, corridors, and common spaces. Following healthcare best practices and infection control guidelines, this role ensures that high touch surfaces, floors, lavatories, furniture, and specialized equipment are properly sanitized to reduce the risk of infection and promote overall wellness within the facility. The EVS Tech monitors cleaning supplies and linens, maintains an organized and secure work cart, and assists with emergency environmental responses as needed.
