Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • minimum of 1-3 years general brokerage experience
  • formal industry training preferred including customs brokerage license and or CCS certification
  • strong understanding of harmonized tariff and product classification
  • strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • strong customer service skills
  • able to meet deadlines, prioritize responsibilities and multi-task
  • experience with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • experience with standard office equipment, fax and photo copier
  • above average data entry skills
  • familiar with all company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Receives and reviews client shipment information and prepares required documentation
  • classifies imports and submits entries to USCBP
  • handles calls and questions from clients and or drivers
  • ensures timely upload of all entries for release or inbound
  • data upload of electronic manifest data and FDA prior notification and Oasis data
  • performs a variety of general office duties as assigned
