The position offered is a leadership role within the Culver's team, focused on maintaining operational excellence and providing outstanding guest experiences. As a shift leader, you will take charge of the restaurant during your shifts by utilizing daily deployment sheets to manage tasks effectively. This role requires a dedicated individual who can ensure the delivery of quality products while also maintaining cleanliness, controlling labor and food costs, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include supervising team members, enforcing food safety practices, and supporting compliance with employment laws.

Being a shift leader at Culver's means acting as a positive role model, serving as a coach and mentor to your team to promote individual growth and develop a high-performing team environment. You will routinely monitor safety protocols, especially those related to the Culver's hazard communication program, and ensure safe working conditions are met consistently. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling cash management, managing inventory levels, and performing both opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.

The role demands attention to detail, especially when enforcing uniform standards and grooming guidelines, as well as ensuring the restaurant maintains high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and ground appearance through regular follow-ups and field reports. This leadership position requires multitasking, decision-making under pressure, and effective communication with team members and the General Manager. Prior experience or equivalent education that demonstrates leadership capabilities will be beneficial.

Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving quickly during shifts, and occasional lifting of weights up to 100 pounds. Job Qualifications

  • Ability to foster and encourage open communication, teamwork and cooperation
  • Results driven with one to two years leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Runs shifts effectively with daily deployment sheet to ensure quality products, excellent guest service and restaurant cleanliness while maintain labor and food costs
  • Follows and implements restaurant policies and procedures effectively holding team members accountable for their actions and/or behaviors
  • Ensures the accurate completion and follow through of all food safety practices and employment law compliance
  • Promptly communicates any questionable behaviors or infractions with General Manager
  • Demonstrates positive and effective role modeling for team members as a coach and mentor to promote team member growth and the development of a high performing team
  • Routinely monitors and coaches team on safety best practices related to the Culver's hazard communication program and workplace safety
  • Performs restaurant opening and closing procedures effectively
