Job Requirements
- Attend a 19-week paid training program to acquire essential culinary skills and certifications
- Demonstrate ability to maintain cleanliness and safe food handling practices
- Commitment to uphold the highest standards of food quality and hospitality services
- Willingness to participate in additional fully funded advanced training programs
- Flexible to work in various culinary settings and shifts
- Physical capability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Eligible for U.S. Army service and pass necessary background checks and medical exams
Job Qualifications
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of required culinary training and certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Experience in food preparation or related culinary tasks preferred
- Willingness to learn and advance through additional training programs
Job Duties
- Attend a comprehensive 19-week paid training program covering menu planning, catering, cooking techniques, culinary art design, food preparation, storage, inventory management, sanitation, forecasting, food inspection, and hospitality services
- Uphold the highest food quality and cleanliness standards throughout all culinary operations
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to established standards and guidelines
- Manage inventory and food supplies to ensure proper stock and reduce waste
- Maintain sanitation and temperature control point standards to comply with health and safety regulations
- Provide hospitality services ensuring a positive dining experience for all personnel
- Participate in advanced training and certification programs to enhance culinary skills and career progression
