The company is currently seeking passionate individuals to join their food and beverage team as Culinarians. As a Culinarian at White Lodging, you will receive comprehensive training to perform the full duties and responsibilities of a cook. This includes working with various cooking and preparation equipment, mastering cooking techniques such as sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, and butchery, as well as learning about garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery. The position also involves adhering to company food and beverage procedures as well as health department regulations and federal guidelines to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining food cost and labor cost standards, checking the freshness of ingredients, and ensuring strict compliance with recipes and portion control measures. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing guest satisfaction by positively influencing guest feedback scores through your attention to detail and commitment to quality. Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cooking and preparation equipment
- Basic cooking skills, including sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery
- Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Train as a Culinarian, learning and practicing the full job description and duties of a cook
- Utilize company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assist in maintaining food cost and labor cost standards
- Check freshness of foods and ingredients
- ensure all recipes and portion-use records are followed
- Be aware of guest feedback scores and work to positively influence rankings
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned
