As part of the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, Carowinds combines exhilarating roller coasters with engaging shows and events, making it a sought-after destination for guests of all ages. Boasting a rich history and commitment to innovation, Carowinds continuously expands and updates its offerings to provide unforgettable experiences. Whether you specialize as an audio engineer with expertise in live mixing and digital consoles, a master electrician experienced with lighting fixtures and control systems, or have technical skill in operating various equipment, Carowinds welcomes your application.

Live Shows Technicians at Carowinds work collaboratively within a team to ensure seamless execution and troubleshooting of live show components. Responsibilities include managing advanced sound systems, lighting rigs, and video walls, operating show control software like QLab, and utilizing industry-leading equipment including Mackie and Allen & Heath consoles and ETC lighting boards. Technicians are also expected to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts safely and efficiently to support staging and show production needs. This role demands technical proficiency, flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, and a dedication to upholding the park's core values of integrity, courtesy, and inclusiveness.

Carowinds values its associates by providing not only competitive pay but also numerous perks including free admission to Carowinds and other Cedar Fair parks, complimentary tickets for friends and family, exclusive discounts on food and merchandise, paid training, and access to associate-only events. The park fosters an inclusive and collaborative work culture where individuals with passion for entertainment and guest service thrive.
