Job Description

Our Entertainment Supervisors team plays a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for guests at a premier entertainment park. This team collaborates closely with performers, associates, and guests to ensure a safe and engaging environment while delivering outstanding entertainment and event experiences across the entire park. The position is integral to the smooth daily operations of the Entertainment department and requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, a positive mindset, and a keen eye for detail.

As an Entertainment Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising associates in various entertainment capacities, which may include working with the Character Program, Special Event and Festival programming, Technical and Production teams, Costumes and Cosmetology teams, or the Stage Management segment of the shows team. This variety offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience within the entertainment sector in a theme park setting.

Your core responsibilities will include managing and mentoring team members, assisting with training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in entertainment or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling and timekeeping systems
  • Commitment to safety and guest satisfaction
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervising daily operations within the Entertainment department
  • Opening and closing locations ensuring cleanliness in guest facing areas as well as backstage areas
  • Promotes teamwork and creates a positive and safe work environment for all
  • Monitor and report associate timekeeping ensuring all park policies are followed daily
  • Maintain associate schedules in UKG
  • Ensure all program elements are safe, properly operating, and clean
  • Provide excellent customer service for our guests
  • Supporting our teams daily to produce superior guest entertainment experiences
  • Resolves guest and associate concerns following proper protocols and procedures
  • Communicate with various teams within the Entertainment department efficiently and respectfully
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other park departments and partners
  • Coordinate and carry out logistics for special events and activations in park as assigned
  • Accurately completes necessary daily paperwork including reports, files, and venue checklists
  • Follows and enforces all park and department policies and procedures
  • Monitors and reports supply inventory levels to upper management to ensure adequate supplies to complete job tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
