Job Requirements
- Knowledge of maintenance duties and tasks
- Comprehensive knowledge of the English language
- Ability to accurately report information
- Ability to follow all hotel policies and procedures
- Physical stamina including pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, hearing, writing, and typing
- Minimum ability to pull 50 pounds
- Experience with minor painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC systems
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality guest service
- Ability to respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
Job Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of general maintenance practices including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance repairs
- Experience in performing preventative maintenance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform preventative maintenance
- troubleshoot equipment issues
- complete repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- maintain HVAC systems, including tending to air conditioners, cooling towers, and boilers
- replace air conditioner filters
- perform minor and routine painting
- perform plumbing and electrical wiring repairs
- respond promptly to guest maintenance requests
- ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- maintain standards of quality guest service
- report information accurately
- respond and resolve guest complaints courteously and in a timely manner
