Job Requirements

  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • At least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level
  • Experience with 14 CFR Part 121 or 14 CFR Part 135 air carrier maintenance environment
  • Ability to perform technical diagnostics on aircraft systems and components
  • Skilled in maintenance scheduling and prioritization
  • Effective coordination skills with diverse aviation personnel
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex aircraft subsystem failures

Job Qualifications

  • Possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS-12) level
  • Experience in a Maintenance Control Center supporting a 14 CFR Part 121 or Part 135 air carrier maintenance environment
  • Proficient in diagnosing and evaluating aircraft systems and components
  • Skilled in coordinating multiple concurrent maintenance activities
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with diverse aviation stakeholders
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot failure modes in complex airframe and powerplant systems

Job Duties

  • Provide on-call technical and logistical support to maintain airworthiness of FAA aircraft
  • Serve as primary coordinator in the Maintenance Control Center for scheduling and prioritizing aircraft maintenance
  • Diagnose and evaluate discrepancies in aircraft components and subsystems
  • Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance staff, contractors, and FAA leadership to resolve operational and technical issues
  • Analyze maintenance scheduling based on mission urgency, aircraft availability, and regulatory compliance
  • Troubleshoot failure modes using technical manuals, schemas, and industry standards
  • Maintain documentation and communication to ensure compliance with FAA regulations
