The Engineering Manager role at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is both a leadership and operational position responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance functions of the property. This includes managing diverse specialties such as plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, painting, carpentry, structural maintenance, recycling operations, electrical systems, ground maintenance, and parking facilities. The Engineering Manager ensures that the property is maintained efficiently, safely, and comfortably for both guests and employees, upholding the established high standards of the Four Seasons brand.

A critical aspect of the role includes managing life and fire safety systems as well as driving energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the property. The Engineering Manager leads a skilled team and serves as the project lead on various property-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion of initiatives aligned with operational goals. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, strong leadership, flexibility, and the ability to operate within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum five years of technical experience in engineering or maintenance
  • familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and structural systems
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • knowledge of safety and fire systems management

Job Duties

  • ensure safety and comfort of guests and employees
