Job Description
HHM Hotels is a distinguished hospitality group committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of hotels. Known for maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability in the hospitality industry, HHM Hotels focuses on fostering a warm and welcoming environment for all guests while continuously striving for operational excellence. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, guest satisfaction, and employee growth, the company has earned a reputation as a leader in the hotel sector, offering both full-time and part-time employment opportunities with competitive wages.
The Preventative and Repair Maintenance role at HHM Hotels is integral to ensuring that all hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves performing a wide range of maintenance duties, including preventative and repair tasks, to maintain the hotel's infrastructure and guest amenities. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members and management to uphold the property’s aesthetic and functional standards, ensuring guest satisfaction through timely and effective maintenance interventions. This role also offers a clear career growth path, advancing from Engineering Supervisor to Chief Engineer and eventually Area Chief Engineer, reflecting the company’s dedication to employee development and leadership.
In this role, you will conduct room inspections to identify repair needs, install or repair sheetrock and wall coverings, paint designated areas, and undertake minor electrical and plumbing work. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining furniture, installing and programming televisions, and resolving heating and cooling system issues. Additional responsibilities include tracing and repairing water lines, troubleshooting kitchen equipment, maintaining preventive maintenance records, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal codes. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.
HHM Hotels prioritizes guest satisfaction, encouraging employees to be proactive in improving guest experience scores and delivering exceptional service. The role sometimes requires flexibility, such as assisting as a bell attendant during busy check-in and check-out periods and following established Service Recovery Guidelines to ensure all guest concerns are addressed promptly. The position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform various manual tasks involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing.
HHM Hotels offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401k company match, daily pay options, and wellness programs. Employees also benefit from educational opportunities, referral bonuses, and travel discounts, underscoring the company’s commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Working at HHM Hotels means being part of a team that values people, embodies hearts that serve, pursues excellence, stays nimble, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
