Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive on time and clock in/out as scheduled
- Ability to follow break schedules and provide notice for call outs
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting over 50 pounds
- Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English effectively
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to understand and comply with safety guidelines and emergency protocols
- Capability to respond to emergency situations using Material Safety Data Sheets
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance work areas
- Ability to assist guests with repair requests promptly and professionally.
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure a welcoming experience
- Work as a team to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all hotel groups and events with awareness and assistance
- Use relevant technology effectively for the maintenance role
- Respond promptly to all guest repair requests and document completion
- Complete preventative maintenance on rooms and public spaces as scheduled
- Ensure compliance with safety and health codes, including pool and spa areas
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of each shift to identify maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized during and after shifts
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
- Prepare and submit accurate shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, and maintain a positive attitude
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Collaborate with team members at all levels to create a welcoming environment
- Follow established guidelines, procedures, and safety protocols
- Arrive on time for shifts and adhere to scheduled work hours
- Use proper phone etiquette and answer calls with friendly service.
