Orlando Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld is part of the MCR family, a leading hotel owner-operator known for its commitment to exceptional hospitality services and quality accommodations across the United States. MCR, founded in 2006, operates a substantial portfolio of 148 premium-branded hotels encompassing over 22,000 guestrooms in 37 states and 106 cities. With offices in New York City, Dallas, Chicago, and Richmond, Virginia, MCR has positioned itself as a key player in the hospitality industry. The company proudly manages hotels under multiple top Marriott and Hilton brands, alongside unflagged independent properties. Recognized for innovation, MCR was named one of Fast Company's 10 Most Innovative Travel Companies of 2020 and has earned multiple prestigious awards, including the Marriott Partnership Circle Award and the Hilton Legacy Award for Top Performer. Orlando Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld reflects this high standard of service and excellence.

The role of Engineer at Orlando Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld is integral to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the hotel, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational excellence. This position focuses on upholding MCR's universal standards which emphasize cleanliness, friendliness, product consistency, quality, and teamwork. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for responding promptly to repair requests from guests and hotel staff, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks documented through an electronic work order platform. You will also manage the hotel’s preventative maintenance schedule, conducting property-wide inspections to identify and resolve maintenance needs proactively.

In addition to hands-on repair and upkeep, the Engineer ensures strict adherence to health and safety codes, particularly in public areas such as pools and spas. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols, including the ability to respond to emergencies utilizing Material Safety Data Sheets and established procedures. Engineers maintain organized, clean workspaces and collaborate closely with other team members to create a welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.

Successful candidates will be expected to execute thorough shift handovers and maintain accurate operational checklists, contributing to seamless communication across shifts. Wearing the approved uniform with pride and professionalism, while engaging guests with a friendly and approachable demeanor, forms a critical part of delivering consistent service quality.

The physical demands of this position include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing for extended periods, walking long distances within the property, performing repetitive motions, and lifting heavy objects, often exceeding 50 pounds. Candidates must be physically capable of meeting these demands safely. Effective communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to manage high-pressure and fast-paced situations are essential to excelling in this role.

MCR offers its team members a range of benefits including hotel discounts, weekly pay, paid time off, retirement options, referral bonuses, career advancement opportunities, and health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees after 30 days. Orlando Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld invites individuals passionate about hospitality, maintenance excellence, and teamwork to join their dynamic environment, delivering superior experiences to guests while advancing their professional careers within a supportive and award-winning company.
