Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in caregiving, teaching, or related roles
  • Basic understanding of senior care and assisted living environment
  • Ability to develop and implement activity plans
  • Patience and compassion for working with seniors
  • Flexible availability to work Sunday, Monday, and Friday
  • Willingness to undergo background and health checks as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a teacher, childcare provider, event planner, or caregiver
  • Passion for helping seniors and others
  • Experience working in an Activities department within assisted living facilities is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience in memory care preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Create and implement engaging activity schedules for residents
  • Plan and support a variety of therapeutic, creative, and social activities
  • Foster meaningful relationships with residents and their families
  • Stimulate residents’ physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being through activities
  • Assist in memory care programs and specialized resident support
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance resident engagement
  • Monitor and adapt activities based on resident needs and preferences
