Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in caregiving, teaching, or related roles
Basic understanding of senior care and assisted living environment
Ability to develop and implement activity plans
Patience and compassion for working with seniors
Flexible availability to work Sunday, Monday, and Friday
Willingness to undergo background and health checks as required

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a teacher, childcare provider, event planner, or caregiver
Passion for helping seniors and others
Experience working in an Activities department within assisted living facilities is a plus
Knowledge or experience in memory care preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

Create and implement engaging activity schedules for residents
Plan and support a variety of therapeutic, creative, and social activities
Foster meaningful relationships with residents and their families
Stimulate residents’ physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being through activities
Assist in memory care programs and specialized resident support
Collaborate with team members to enhance resident engagement
Monitor and adapt activities based on resident needs and preferences
