Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2,000 helicopter flight hours
  • At least 500 hours turbine time
  • Minimum 1,500 PIC hours
  • Instrument rating mandatory
  • Over five years flying as PIC
  • At least three years commercial, military, or government rotorcraft PIC experience
  • Recent commercial flight experience within past 12 months
  • Preferred local area familiarity
  • Must live within one hour of Chicago base

  • Instrument rating required

  • Five or more years flying experience as PIC
  • Three or more years commercial, military, or government rotorcraft experience as PIC
  • Must have flown commercially within the last 12 months

  • Reside within one hour of the Chicago base

Job Duties

  • Operate Bell 206/407 series helicopters safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness
  • Navigate intended routes using instrument flight rules when required
  • Maintain communication with flight operations and adhere to regulated protocols
  • Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and composure
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and coordinate with ground personnel
  • Stay current with all certifications, regulations, and recurrent training requirements
