Job Qualifications
- Valid licensure as EMT, Paramedic, or LPN
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Ability to lift 50lb emergency response bag
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Passionate about patient care
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care is a plus
- Experience in occupational health is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
Job Duties
- Participate in daily operations at Medcor's onsite clinic
- Provide superior customer service to Medcor's client and employees
- Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
- Build and maintain internal team relationships
- Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts
- Conduct pre-employment and post-offer screenings
- Document care using electronic medical records (EMR) and other tools
- Perform physical assessment testing (PATs)
- Manage workers' compensation cases
- Maintain OSHA record-keeping
- Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) program
- Collaborate with local medical providers and client staff
