Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Walgreens Community Internship Program or High School Diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience
- demonstrated leadership abilities including professional business ethics and strong communication skills
- completion of Store Manager training program or willingness to complete within 12 weeks
- must be fluent in English
- willingness to work flexible schedule with evenings and weekends
- willingness to accept Store Manager promotion which may require relocation
- ability to transfer within same hiring area

- completion of Store Manager training program or willingness to complete

Job Duties
- Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters
- manages front end of the store
- makes recommendations on overall operations of Pharmacy and Retail Store
- supports Store Manager with store operations to achieve company deliverables
- assumes responsibilities in absence of Store Manager
- ensures proper merchandising and store asset protection
- leads and manages recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members
- engages customers and resolves complaints
- monitors and trains team on customer service
- supervises daily store operations, task delegation, scheduling and coverage
- collaborates with external partners and supports community outreach
- leverages data for decision making
- manages store cash handling and bookkeeping
- oversees inventory control and training for inventory procedures
- ensures store cleanliness and maintenance
- provides for team safety and utilizes Security Operations Center
- complies with company policies and legal regulations
- analyzes financial and performance data
- supports Pharmacy during busy periods
- leads team member training, mentoring, coaching and performance management
- manages hiring and staffing needs
- completes Store Manager training programs
- communicates with team and management
- assists in planning and communicating store strategy
- completes special assignments as assigned
