Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment
- Preferably one plus years of relevant veterinary experience
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 emergency hospital setting
Job Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the applicable state
- Preferably has one or more years of clinical veterinary experience
- Strong clinical skills in general and emergency veterinary practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment
Job Duties
- Provide general veterinary care and emergency medical treatment to animal patients
- Conduct examinations, diagnostics, and surgeries using advanced equipment and facilities
- Utilize in-house laboratory services for timely diagnosis and treatment planning
- Manage and monitor patients in the ICU and specialized care areas
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and medical progress
- Maintain detailed medical records using the Avimark veterinary management system
