Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an emergency medicine residency program
- Current board certification in emergency medicine
- Missouri state medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Demonstrated experience handling high-pressure emergency situations
- Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
Job Qualifications
- Board certified in emergency medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in Missouri
- Experience working in Level I trauma centers
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, preferably Meditech
- Strong clinical skills in acute and emergency care
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Provide direct emergency medical care to patients in a high-volume Level I trauma center setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialty backup services
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination
- Participate in shift coverage across various time blocks including days and nights
- Engage in rapid patient assessment and treatment following trauma and STEMI protocols
- Support the training and mentoring of APP staff
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines for emergency care
