Job Requirements
- At least 1 year experience as a certified EMT-B in a 911 system preferred
- high school diploma
- current New Jersey EMT certification or eligibility for reciprocity
- NREMT certification preferred
- BLS certification
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within the first year
- current state issued driver’s license with clean driving record
- physically capable of working in all weather and environmental conditions and lifting patients
- age between 21 and 79 years
- proof of valid personal automobile insurance in New Jersey
- no driving violations or accidents in past 3 years
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma

- National Registry EMT certification preferred
- current BLS certification
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within the first year of employment
- current state issued driver’s license with clean driving record
- physically able to work in all weather and environmental conditions
- able to lift and move patients
- at least 21 years of age by start date
Job Duties
- Provide pre-hospital Basic Life Support care under supervision
- cooperate with other EMS providers as part of patient care team
- assess, treat, lift, move, and transport patients using appropriate equipment and techniques
- complete all required documentation accurately and timely
- maintain a professional attitude during all duties
- support efficient EMS operations
- work in all weather and environmental conditions
